What is KiDCLiCKs you ask?

It’s a FUN, NOVEL way to explore our wonderful city with your kids while learning how to take better photos of all the interesting things that cross your path.

It’s basically a PHOTO WALK for kids and their moms and dads!

Or call it a FUN FAMILY activity!

HOW A PHOTO WALK WORKS:  We meet as a designated location and introduce ourselves. Then we begin to walk and explore our chosen path. I’ll serve as your guide and will provide you and your kid with a simple assignment that will get your creativity flowing. As we stroll along, I’ll answer any specific questions your kids have about their cameras and will make suggestions on how to take the best photos of anything they’d like to capture while on the walk. The walks last about an hour so KiDCLiCKs is best suited for kids ages 5-12, but younger siblings are very welcome to trail along.

WHY IT’S FUN:  KiDCLiCKS is a great way for moms and dads to meet other moms and dads, and for their kids to have fun exploring a cool, urban location with other each other. After the walk, you and your kids will be encouraged to upload and share your photos to a KiDCLiCKs Flickr page. You and your kids will be excited to revisit your outdoor experience and to see everyone else’s photos! Their will be a photo contest judged by all participants, and a fun prize given to the winner.

WHAT TO BRING:  If your kid has a DSL, that’s great! If not a simple point and shoot camera will do just fine. Even a iPhone would work, especially for any Instagram enthusiast out there.

Also, make sure you bring hats, sunscreen, and snacks for your kids.

WHEN IT’S ON! The last Sunday of each month, at 3 pm.
