When Sandra called to book her maternity and baby sessions with me, she mentioned that she may also be interested in a session with her sister who’s leaving for Italy next week. She was happy for her sister but sad to see her go, because as she explained, they are so close. I know what’s it’s like to live far away from my own sisters, so I offered to meet them and spend a bit of time taking a few photos of them together. Besides, it would be the perfect way to meet Sandra before our scheduled photo sessions.
Sandra and her sister. What can I say… they were so pleasant, friendly, stylish, funny, and authentic. And they are as close as sisters can get.
When Sandra asked me about my background, I told her I was half-Colombian, half-Italian. We laughed to discover that she’s married to a Colombian, and her sister moving to Italy to be her Italian boyfriend! (Oh, and I forgot to mention, that I also have a sister named Sandra!)
Sandra, I’m so looking forward to photographing you and your little one-to-be.
Teresa, I wish you a wonderful new life in Italy. I’m sure you boyfriend will keep you close by. (Ha Ha!)
You are both glowing with love, and good things to come!
