Ting & Gabriel

I was treating my spykids to fresh, yummy chocolate croissants and tea at a favourite cafe of ours, when I spotted this young couple at the table beside us. I couldn’t help but notice how sweet they looked, she with her head buried in a book, and he immersed in his laptop…the kind of assured love usually displayed by older souls. The dichotomy of the moment made me smile, and I just knew I had to photograph them. So, I mustered up the bravado and told them so. They pleasantly agreed, my spykids asked me if I knew them, and I felt like it was a good day for photography all around.

It took us months to land on a session date, with lots of inclement weather in-between. But it finally happened  (with our location chosen out of pure serendipity) and here’s how we spent our time together. I think the images speak for themselves.

Ting and Gabriel. A. real. sweet. young. smart. fun. philosophical. earnest. duo. in love.

T & G, thanks for playing along by being your lovely selves.

xoxo
